Gerardo is AMAZING. We asked him to help us purchase furniture and fittings for our new house in Costa Rica. Gerardo dedicated his entire day to driving us back and forth across the city to get everything that we wanted.

Additionally, Gerardo took us to a couple of stores that we would have never found on our own. He negotiated on our behalf and saved us hundreds of dollars in the process.

He managed to obtain a truck and driver to deliver our goods the next day. Not only was the entire operation seamless to us, the driver was early arriving into Ojochal.

He is a genuinely nice and helpful individual that is looking out for his clients best interest. I highly recommend Gerardo to all our friends and will engage him in the future as the need arises.

In regard to Gerardo Villegas. We found him to be very reliable. We have used his taxi services many times. With that service he was helpful in translation and knowing where to go to find special items in Costa Rica. We have contacted Gerardo via computer to confirm pickup times at different places, Airport, Hotel and down town Bus Station in San Jose. He even went to the Bus Station to pick us up at a time in the evening when taxi drivers do not go because it is too dangerous. We appreciated him going the extra mile for us.

This man is a god send. He has helped me tremendously. My wife and I needed to move to a good neighborhood in San Jose quickly. This man single handedly took care of every thing. He found us a very nice house for rent. The 4 bedrooms 3 baths 2 car garage for only $700 a month our neighbors are paying $1,200 for the same thing. Then with amassing speed he found qualified people to fix the plumbing and some electrical things in the house. He got us a nice gardener and a maid. He found us a fantastic deal on an old car for my wife in one day complete with all the paper work and insurance. He found and delivered some parts for my electric dryer and another car I have that I had been looking for for several months on my own. He took me to get my drivers license and made it seem so easy with no test. When I was away on business he helped my wife get medical insurance and took her to get tests and to the doctor's appointments and translate when needed. This alone was priceless to my wife and I. There seems that no task is too small or too big for this man to concur. I know now that he has saved me thousands in time and money over the past 3 months. I truly do not know were my wife and I would be with out him.

Before heading to Costa Rica for a vacation in February 2007, some friends from Ontario recommended that if we were in need of a driver we should contact Gerardo Villegas. The day before heading home from San Jose airport, we decided to hire Gerardo for the day to take us to the Poas Volcano. After taking us there and accompanying us on our explorations, he suggested we might like to see the La Paz Waterfalls as well. We were not disappointed. In fact, our last day was the highlight of our entire trip. We spent the whole day with Gerardo at a very reasonable price. He turned up exactly on time and the fact that he speaks very good English was extremely helpful. He goes out of his way to point out things of interest and is quite happy to stop wherever you like along the way to help you find that special souvenir. We learned a lot from Gerardo about the culture, politics, and geographics of Costa Rica during our ride. He is a very honest, dependable gentleman. When we arrived home we realized we were missing a film. We contacted Gerardo by e-mail and he not only found the film but even made arrangements to have it delivered to us back home in Ontario. On our next visit to Costa Rica we will definitely be calling on Gerardo for his services. We are in fact looking forward to renewing our acquaintance.

When I was there last Fall, I had multiple dental appointments in Santa Ana the week I arrived and the week I departed. When I got to San Jose, I needed a car asap. Gerardo picked me up in the pouring rain and took me from one car lot to another, all afternoon. We were absolutely drenched but he did not mind. He got me to a good mechanic to check out the car, then to the bank, to a lawyer and I had the car in two days! I wanted some special work done on the car and Gerardo knew just where to go for an excellent job and good price, too.

Gerardo has helped me with so many things. He is a man who knows how to get things done, quickly, efficiently and cheaply. And besides that, everybody likes him! He is a people person - friendly, funny and also very caring. I highly recommend him.
